Private Lesson Programs
Our private lesson programs are the best option for owners looking to be very involved in the training process. It does require owners to spend at least 20-30 minutes a day towards training in between training sessions. This time you spend with your dog will help you stay on track to progress at the right speed and will make sure you are getting the results you’re looking for.
During the 1-hour lessons, we will work with your dog to introduce a variety of training tools and begin to solidify a series of basic obedience commands. Once we have worked with your dog, you will then take over to get some hands-on-experience training your dog. This part is extremely important, as this is the moment you will become a dog trainer! You’ll learn the process, timing, and communication to continue on at home. If you have any questions between lessons, however, we’ll continue to be a resource to help you and guide you.
2-Week Board And Train / Boot Camp
Our 2-week Board and Train program is the most immersive training program that can make the biggest difference in the shortest amount of time. We will take your dog for 14 days and they will live with us at our home. We’ll conduct the training every day, typically between 3-5 hours of work each day! While we are working with your dog, you’ll receive daily updates including pictures and videos so you can stay in the loop. We understand it can be hard to give your dog up for 2 weeks, so we try to make it as easy as possible for you!
Once we are finished with the training, we will meet with you for several hours to teach you everything you need to know. We will show you how to use the training tools, how to work with your dog, how to give the training commands, and continue to make progress with your dog. Your pup will not be “finished” after training and it does require owners to continue on with the structure and boundaries we have implemented, but you will not have to teach them anything new. If you’re tired of getting dragged down the street and having no control over your dog, this program may be a great fit for you!
Scent Detection
We have an awesome scent work training program right here in Northern Delaware! This is our newest service that have we have started to offer to our clients to continue to build a stronger bond with your dog. This ancillary training program will dramatically improve your relationship and will start to teach you and your dog how to work as a team. You will learn to read your dog’s body language and how they communicate. This training program is a perfect option for owners looking for more than just obedience training. This Scent Detection program is extremely fun, will get your dog’s brain moving, and the best part: you can do this training anywhere!
